About Me
Laura is a Consultant at Edge Health with a background in biochemistry and epidemic intelligence, having previously worked at the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control on disease surveillance and threat detection. She specialises in bridging complex healthcare domain logic with technical delivery, translating business objectives into accessible data products and robust performance frameworks.
She has delivered projects across the NHS, DHSC, and the private healthcare sector. She led extensive clinician engagement for NHS Online as well as setting the foundations for the programme’s data and BI capabilities, led the data workstream for the DHSC’s Getting Adult Social Care Data programme through a successful GDS assessment, and and developed a long-term data analytics strategy for a private mental health provider to translate business needs into decision-making. Laura also has strong experience in health economics, spanning infectious and chronic disease through to the wider socioeconomic impact of medicines, and successfully manages the day-to-day delivery of major health economics evaluations.
Laura works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, gathering requirements and translating them into solutions that are accessible and provide real value. She is skilled at bringing structure and clarity to complex, unstructured problems, and at bringing together clinical, technical, and delivery teams to keep projects on track.
